I wore baggy blue in Test cricket 14 years ago. Honestly, I never thought that this journey would come this far. This format tested me, refined me and also taught me lessons which I will remember in my life. Playing white ball cricket was a very personal feeling for me. Here you have to be constantly engaged and those small moments which are not visible to anyone remain with you forever.
I am retiring from this format which is not an easy thing. However, at this time it seems right. I have given everything I had to this format. It has also given me more than I expected. I am retiring with a lot of gratitude to the people with whom I played and who supported me so much. I will always look back at my Test career with a smile.
