Virat Kohli Sweet Moment with Zaheer Ahead of Crucial RCB vs LSG Clash

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will have everything to play for when they take the field against Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants in the final league match of IPL 2025 at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday. A win will secure a top-two finish and a shot at Qualifier 1, while a loss will push RCB into the Eliminator.
Amid the high-stakes buildup, a heartwarming moment between Virat Kohli and Lucknow’s mentor Zaheer Khan is winning hearts online. During a training session, Virat Kohli was seen engaging in a light conversation with Zaheer, who showed him pictures of his newborn son, Fatehsinh. The two, both part of India’s 2011 World Cup-winning squad, share a strong bond.
In a video posted by LSG’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Zaheer proudly shows Kohli the photos, prompting the former RCB captain to ask, “Kispe gaya hai?” (Who does he resemble?). Zaheer said Fatehsinh is a blend of both parents, but Kohli’s response—“His eyes are just like you”—melted hearts.
The clip, captioned “Simply aww,” has since gone viral, showcasing the warmth and camaraderie beyond the competition.

Kohli and Anushka Sharma visit Hanuman Garhi temple

On Sunday, former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, visited the revered Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya. Photos and videos of the couple offering prayers and interacting with temple priests have since gone viral on social media.
Dressed in traditional attire, the duo was seen bowing their heads in devotion as they received garlands and shawls from the temple priests. This spiritual visit follows their recent trip to Vrindavan, where they met spiritual leader Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj.
The visit came shortly after Kohli officially announced his retirement from Test cricket. During the squad announcement for the upcoming England series, chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar revealed that Kohli had contacted him in April to communicate his decision.
Kohli retires as one of India’s greatest Test players, having represented the country in 123 matches. He amassed 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries, 31 half-centuries, and seven double tons. His contribution to Indian Test cricket remains monumental, both as a batter and as a former captain.
