Both Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians had already secured their playoff spots ahead of their crucial face-off in Jaipur. However, the stakes remained high, with the winner guaranteed a top-two finish—offering the significant advantage of two opportunities to reach the IPL 2025 final.
