The schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been announced, with India set to face Pakistan on June 14th.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final will be held at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to take place in England from 12th June to 5th July. The tournament will culminate with the final at Lord’s, widely regarded as the ‘home of cricket.’

Host nation England will kick off the tournament, facing Sri Lanka in the opening match at Edgbaston, Birmingham. This edition marks the largest ever, featuring 12 teams for the first time.

The teams are split into two groups of six. Group 1 includes Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, and two qualifiers from the Global Qualifier tournament. Group 2 consists of England, defending champions New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and the other two Global Qualifier teams.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for 30th June and 2nd July at The Oval. The grand final is set for 5th July at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

Across seven venues—including Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Headingley, Old Trafford, The Oval, Bristol County Ground, and Lord’s—a total of 33 matches will be played throughout the tournament.

Beth Barrett-Wild, Tournament Director of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, expressed her excitement about the event, highlighting its significance for women’s cricket.

“The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 offers an extraordinary chance to turn a month of sporting excellence into a powerful movement that will redefine the story of women’s cricket,” she said. At these iconic venues across England, world-class athletes will compete fiercely in front of hundreds of thousands of fans. With every ball bowled and every run scored, this tournament will help create lasting change. It’s our moment to give women’s cricket—and women’s sport—the platform it truly deserves,” she added.
