Mitchell Starc, one of Australia’s premier fast bowlers, has announced his retirement from T20 International cricket. The left-arm pacer played 65 T20Is for Australia between 2012 and 2024, taking 79 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 7.74.
Mitchell Starc made his T20I debut in September 2012 against Pakistan and played his final match in the format against India during the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Over a 13-year career in T20Is, he became known for his lethal pace and ability to deliver under pressure.
