The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the schedule for the all-format series on Saturday, 6th September. The Men in Green will host the Rainbow Nation for two tests, three ODIs, and an equal number of T20Is. The series will kick off on October 12 with the first test in Lahore, marking Pakistan’s first engagement in the current WTC cycle.
The action will then shift to Rawalpindi for the second test, scheduled from October 20 to 24. Having finished at the bottom of the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table, Pakistan will be eager to start the new cycle on a winning note.
Following the two tests, the teams will contest a three-match T20I series before moving on to the ODI leg. The T20Is will run from October 28 to November 1, with Rawalpindi hosting the opener and Lahore hosting the remaining two matches. The ODI series will take place from November 4 to 8 entirely in Faisalabad, marking the city’s return to international ODI cricket after a 17-year hiatus.
