This clash holds significant importance for both teams as they aim to edge closer to the final. However, Bangladesh suffered a setback ahead of the match, missing their regular captain Litton Das.
Stepping in as captain, Jaker Ali has made a promising start, winning the toss and opting to bowl first. During the toss, he also explained the reason behind Das’s absence from the game.

Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali confirmed that Litton Das suffered an injury during a practice session, forcing him to miss the important game against India. Ali also revealed that Bangladesh have made four changes to their playing XI for the match.
“We would like to bowl first. Litton got injured during practice and, unfortunately, will miss this crucial game. I am excited and looking forward to this match,” Ali said.
He added, “As a team, we are doing really well, and we will give our best effort. We aim to restrict them and chase the total. The pitch looks good for batting. We have made four changes to the XI.”
