Punjab Kings (PBKS) had a disappointing IPL 2024 campaign, finishing ninth in the league stage with just 10 points from five wins in 14 matches.
On Sunday, February 16, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the complete schedule for IPL 2025. The tournament will commence on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Kolkata. The playoffs are set to begin on May 20.
In IPL 2025, PBKS will play their seven home matches across two venues—four games at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh, and three at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
Their campaign kicks off on March 25 against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad.
Throughout the season, PBKS will face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) twice. Meanwhile, they will play Gujarat Titans (GT), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Delhi Capitals (DC) once.
Notably, their matches against GT and SRH will be away fixtures.
