Rohit Sharma Flop Against RCB: IPL 2025 has proved to be a complete disappointment for former T20 captain of India and legendary batsman Rohit Sharma so far. Rohit flopped for Mumbai Indians in the first three matches and then could not play the fourth match due to injury. After this, he returned for the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore but he could not show anything special even today. Rohit started the innings with some great shots but then got bowled on an inswinger from Yash Dayal. In this way his innings did not last long and he returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs in 9 balls.
Rohit Sharma could not leave an impact against RCB as well
Rohit Sharma: Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bowl first, due to which Rohit Sharma did not have a place in the playing 11. He was brought in as an impact player in place of Vignesh Puthur in the last overs of RCB’s innings.
Mumbai Indians and their fans, who came out to chase the big target, hoped that Rohit would make the way easy for the team by giving a fast start and he also showed a glimpse of it. Rohit hit a huge six against Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the very first over. After this, he hit two consecutive fours against Yash Dayal in the next over but then got clean bowled. After landing, the ball came in slightly and dodged Rohit’s bat and hit the stumps.
