India’s final Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025 is currently in progress in Dubai.
The Indian and Sri Lankan cricket teams are facing off in the last Super Four encounter on Friday, September 25, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Asia Cup: The game is a dead-rubber, with India having already secured a spot in the final, while Sri Lanka has been eliminated from the tournament. Sri Lankan captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and chose to field.
Ahead of the match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav announced two changes to the playing XI. Asia Cup, Jasprit Bumrah and seam-bowling all-rounder Shivam Dube have been rested, making way for Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana.

Asia Cup: At the toss, captain Suryakumar Yadav revealed that India were aiming to bat first. “We’ll just continue doing what we’ve been doing. We were looking to bat first. It’s a good atmosphere and a good game, and we’re excited for it. We have two changes – Bumrah and Dube are out, while Arshdeep and Harshit come in,” he said.
Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka confirmed one change to their side, replacing Chamika Karunaratne with Janith Liyanage.
